Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Glass Installation Assistant to support our team in the installation of glass products in residential settings. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of glass installation projects while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation of Residential & Commercial glass windows, doors, shower enclosures, mirrors, and other glass products.

Collaborate with the installation team to execute projects according to specifications and customer requirements.

Safely handle and transport glass materials to and from residential sites.

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.

Measure and cut glass materials accurately to fit specific project dimensions.

Prepare surfaces and frames for the installation of glass products.

Support troubleshooting efforts and address any installation challenges that may arise.

Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and homeowners.

Uphold a commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in Residential or Commercial glass installation or a related field is advantageous, but not a requirement.

Familiarity with glass cutting and measuring techniques.

Ability to lift and maneuver heavy glass materials.

Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Basic understanding of residential construction and building processes.

Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.

Physical Requirements:

The job may involve lifting heavy objects, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods. Adequate safety measures and equipment will be provided.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
